Fantastic food for very reasonable prices. They start you off with bread not to miss. Between my husband and me, we split Carciofi e Parmigiano, a perfect blend of thinly sliced artichokes, parmigiana, and fennel dressed with olive oil and lemon. I so much prefer lemon to vinegar! Brodino con Ferganti was a mix of chicken liver\u2014sage\u2014black pepper flavors: all strong but none overpowering. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_1512.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/juliacore.com\/beyondthebarre\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_1512.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 1512\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pollo e Ricotta was a combination of chicken and ricotta meatballs, with cauliflower bites in tomato sauce.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_1529.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/juliacore.com\/beyondthebarre\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_1529.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 1529\" width=\"454\" height=\"600\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But wait! If sardines and anchovies are on your radar you cannot leave this place without tasting Sardine Schiacciate. After the first bite, my husband and I literally looked at each other stunned: what is that! Yes, that good.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_1527.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/juliacore.com\/beyondthebarre\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_1527.jpg\" alt=\"IMG 1527\" width=\"466\" height=\"600\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Besides, the service and the atmosphere the stuff create make you feel included. Especially the chemistry between these two. Gaetano in his linen suite could have easily stepped out of the Chekhov\u2019s play \u2014 Gaev, maybe \u2014 just missing a wide brim hat and a cane. Alessandro, on the other hand, seemed to belong to any and all of Luca Guadagnino\u2019s movies.
