Somehow, people working out in gyms turn me off physical fitness and create an aversion to exercise. A possibility to look look or project like them does not appeal to me.
On the contrary, people at the barre — the true, humble, quietly devoted ones — make me want to be like them on every step of the way: whether they teach me, or I teach them, or I stand next to them at the barre.
There’s nothing like grace of movement created by strength derived from mentality and and focus and consistency and humility.
